About Silvina Romero

An Argentinean designer with a multifaceted career, Silvina Romero studied design in La Universidad de Buenos Aires. She reached a turning point in her work during the economic crisis of 2001 in Argentina. She started recycling discarded fabric that she would collect from the streets of the fashion district in Buenos Aires. From these raw materials she created delicate and fresh wearables. Intense colors and exquisite craftsmanship result in innovative pieces of unusual jewelry.
