Bina Altera creates strong, emotive images that focus on still life, theatrical scenes, and mood. She accomplishes this by using imagery that has the ability to recall an event, real or imagined. She likens each of her images to movie stills. When put together, they create a precariously balanced puzzle that gives a sense of movement, and builds a story open to poetic interpretation.
